We’ve been in the industry since 2006. Today we specialise in residential property, with a track record of delivering high-quality developments for investors, landowners and landlords across Yorkshire.

2006–2010
Personal portfolio
- First property: a two-bed back-to-back house in Beeston, Leeds.
- Ten houses bought and renovated with business partner and sister, Jayne.
- A mix of HMOs and single-let properties.

Quarters of Leeds
- Kris Carpenter and his sister Jayne Grunshaw (née Carpenter) as joint owners.
- Premises bought in Armley, Leeds. Jayne left the business in 2015 to have a family.
- The portfolio grew to 340 managed tenancies before being sold to Linley and Simpson in 2019.

- Set up by Kris in response to the Section 24 tax changes to mortgage interest.
2015–2019
Property flips
- Alongside buy-to-let investing, we began flipping houses for profit — the start of the road to larger development projects.

Quattro Property Group
- A joint venture between Kris Carpenter, Frank Kofler and Richard Lumley to deliver high-end residential schemes in Yorkshire.
- Southfield, Harrogate was the largest: 20 units and £9m gross development value.

- Building on success in sourcing, management and land development, Quarters of Leeds and Quattro Property Group were amalgamated into Quattro Property Services.
- A property services business for small-scale investors right through to international companies with property requirements in Yorkshire.

Kris Carpenter
Kris has specialised in the purchase, refurbishment and development of rental properties throughout Yorkshire, building extensive portfolios for high-wealth individuals.
He also owns and runs a large property management company based in Leeds.
