Routine maintenance of appliances within the property is the landlord's responsibility. However, the cost of repair or replacement resulting from damage caused by negligence or improper use, rather than wear and tear, is the tenant's responsibility.
The tenancy agreement requires the tenant to report problems or defects to the landlord or to us as soon as practical, so action can be taken to avoid further deterioration of the property.
